Hi all, sorry for being incognito the past couple of weeks.  The wife and I are in the midst of moving and hen we'll be going on vacation.  Then, when we get back, I'll be debuting the first  weekly comic strip of my new digital first series, Jack and Hunter.

Here on this blog, I like to add something "extra" for the wonderful people who checked out my first book, Chocolate Tales. So, without further ado, here are some very, very preliminary sketches of Jack and Hunter.

You'll notice another dog, "Stella". She is our third dog, but she won't be in the comic anytime soon.  I'm drawing up a backlog of comics (all the way up to the third week of February 2014). So, they should be coming out on a weekly basis.

Something New

Hey all, thanks for checking out my blog!  I just wanted to let you know about a new project that I'm working on in conjunction with the Chocolate Tales series.  I've been secretly in "the lab" creating a new series of comic strip.  I'll be posting a comic strip once a week starting in October - November time frame.

Book 2

Book 2 is penciled and, after one more page, inked! I'm doing things a bit differently this time around and I'm going to ask for your help. I will be fleshing out the story (the written part) from the pictures I've drawn and will need people to read the story before I start coloring the book; which takes the majority of the time to do. So, if you would like to read Book 2 prior to its release, PM me on Facebook. I'll take the first 5 volunteers. Cheers! (By the way, I expect the written portion to be done in a week or so).

Character Study

The first time I put pen to paper, in regards to this book called "Chocolate Tales" was back in April 2012.  I drew a few pictures here and there of what I thought the area, of what is now called Chew York in the story, would look like.  I came across a stump in the road when it came to character design though.
I had drawn backgrounds, drawn foliage of the areas in Chew York. I'd even plotted the initial story to what now is Book 1 of the series.  But.....no main character, no main villain.
It was only months later, after I had re-visited the story when I was at my day job,that I began doodling again.  My love of the culinary arts and drawing were combined and I drew a character sketch of a character that would soon become known as "Chef Chewy."
